Laoise - Vocals, Fiddle, Mandolin, Keyboard
Laoise has led a colourful musical life from co-lead vocalist with rock band The Co-dependents, to Jazz-folk singer/songwriter, to Irish folk mandolin, fiddle and vocals. Her most recent development has been as a Klezmer musician and Yiddish vocalist. Her passion is to bring Yiddish music into the 21st century fusing jazz, folk and rock styles with her Jewish roots and to show how Jewish Music is a true World Music. She has performed as a vocalist with She'koyokh and appears on their latest CD. She is now working for the Jewish Music Institute based at SOAS managing their sound archive and provides talks on Jewish Music to community groups.

Emma Stiman - Clarinet, Saxophone, Keyboard
Emma has a prestigious Classical background. She studied Clarinet at the Royal College of Music Junior Department and progressed to the Birmingham Conservatoire of Music where she achieved a BA hons degree in Music Performance (Clarinet and Piano). Emma gained extensive performance experience playing with the National Youth Wind Orchestra, and was principle Clarinet during a tour with the Young Musician's Symphony Orchestra conducted by Yehudi Menuhin. Her interest in Jewish Music was kindled during JMI Klezfest 2002 and 2003, which has inspired her to explore and develop the expressive potential of the clarinet. Emma also has a PGCE in Secondary School Music and teaches in schools across North London.

Sulekh Ruparell - Tabla, Harmonium, Vocals
British-born Sulekh has amassed 15 years experience as a singer, and also plays tabla and harmonium, which are two of the most popular instruments for music-making in the East. Sulekh has succeeded in taking the Classical Indian music of his heritage, and fusing it with other musical styles including Flamenco and Klezmer, and has performed to audiences in India, the UK and North America. He is a great admirer of Jewish Music, in particular Klezmer, in which he finds a great deal of similarity with Indian Music.

Madeline Solomon - Flute, Vocals, Keyboard
Madeline has worked as a musician, dancer and choreographer across Europe since 1992 (Roxy Theatre, Prague, Cirque de Gavarnie, France, Brussels, The Place theatre London, Jackson's Lane Theatre, London). Her recent works include a sell-out run of Tower of Bagel, a Jewish Musical Comedy show (Soho Theatre, Purcell Room, RFH, London, 2003-2004)) where she was choreographer, musical director, dancer and flautist. She also plays flute with The Bagel Band (Purcell Room, 2003), and Shekoy'ekh, a London-based 10-piece klezmer band. As a choreographer, she has recently made a piece with youths from East London, as part of a multi-media collaboration (St Ethelberga's Centre for Peace and Reconciliation August, 2004).

James Siverly - Accordian
James was inspired to learn music by listening to his grandmother, who was a professional accordianist and organist. He first started playing the clarinet as a teenager and later studied classical repertoire with Aris Chavez at Illinois State University. Living in the U.K., he began exploring traditional Irish and British music on whistle and accordian. He was a member of Goys And Gaels, a band whose set list jumped from ceilidh to klezmer. He has been with Nomadica since June 2004.
