Nomadica bring together the emotionally charged and vibrant melodies of the Klezmer tradition from Eastern Europe and the rhythmic complexity and maturity of Indian Music. Under the banner of World music, Nomadica has played at the Spitz in London and will be playing at festivals around the UK in 2005.

Saturday 19th November 2005 We know a lot of people in North London who always complain that there arent any Klezmer Gigs outside of the City Centre. So this gig, organised by EASY and TRIBE in association with JMI, will make a difference. Come and hear Nomadica play a live set of Klezmer World Music. It promises to be a fun evening with lots of friendly people, drinks and socialising!

Nomadica will perform some of their latest material in this beautiful and spiritual refuge right in the centre of London's bustling city! St Ethelberga's is a centre for reconciliation and peace, ideals that Nomadica feel very strongly about. Through our fusion of Klezmer with Jazz, Indian, Irish and other influences we explore our own mixture of cultures and identities and those of other cultures. 7:00 - 9:30pm (doors open at 6:30) |

Our first outdoor appearance, we are playing as part of the KlezFest Summer School (and SOAS World of Music Summer School) along with FDT Klezmorim. We will be peforming our lively fusion of Klezmer and world music with jazz and folk influences. We hope you will join us! 5:00 - 7:00 pm
